Gift of Adoption Ticket to Ride Campaign
Gift of Adoption used miles raised in its Miles on a Mission campaign to help Bryan and Kathleen complete the final leg of their journey to bring their two adopted sons, Mario and Ismail, home from Bulgaria to Texas. Bryan and Kathleen were scheduled to leave Bulgaria just as the COVID-19 pandemic was leading to travel restrictions from Europe. Gift of Adoption worked with the family, using miles available through the Miles on a Mission campaign, to scramble and help the family rebook their travel through Chicago to Dallas/Ft. Worth. Adoption prevented the two boys from aging out of the orphanage and gave them a forever family.
